China Rare Earth Holdings Limited is a large trans-area corporation and a public company listed in HongKong Stock Exchange.(Name: China Rare Earth, Code:0769) Its head office is registered in HongKong .In mainland China, some of its affiliates have their own shop cards. Located on the bank of beautiful Taihu Lake, the subsidiary in Yinxing covers area of 200.000㎡, of which 140.000m2 is building area. It has nearly 1.000 employees, of which 30% are technical staff. By the end of 2002, the company had won lots of honors, such as Enterprise With High& New Technology in Jiangsu Province, an Enterprise of Honoring Contracts and Keep Promise, Industrial Enterprise Star in Wuxi, one of the 50 Key Enterprises in Wuxi Area, one of the Top 100 Industrial Enterprises in Yixing City. After self-administration and effort, the company passed ISO9001: 2000 and ISO 14000 Certification. At present, the company has 2 main industries, namely, rare earth, refractory materials and 7 subsidiaries, which have their own shop cards and are engaged in divided works respectively. One subsidiary named Yixing Xinwei Leeshing Rare Earth Co., Ltd ha become one of the largest rare earth-separating enterprises over the world after being rebuilt with ￥0.2 billion and is annual capacity of high purity rare earth products has reached up to 5 figures, holding 20% of the demand all over the world, and specifications of its products range from 99%~99.9999%, therefore, could fully meet the demands from various users. Anther one called Yixing Leeshing Refractory Materials Co., Ltd, a special refractory material production company, has the annual production capacity of 100 thousand tons of middle and high-grade refractory materials of which more than 50% are exported, and its domestic user are from different industries such as iron and steel, metallurgy, building material, glass, petro-chemistry and electric power. And it has established stable cooperative trade relations with many users, especially KROSAKI HARIMA Japan. Wuxi Xinwei Fluorescent Material Co., Ltd which has been expanded started production with capacity of 500 ton tri-color phosphor and 1000 ton of high quality rare earth polishing powder production line, which is still under construction, are the key economics increases of our group during the third enterprise.
